Transitions We build on what you’ve learned in the fundamentals class. You will learn to begin to build from one pose to next and transition between, moving fluidly! We will have drills and warm ups to specifically train movements all weaved with smart and accessible progressions which will help with understanding the motions. You will have new poses and transitions to build from furthering your practice to be able to play with Acro on your own.
What is AcroYoga?
Combining acrobatics, yoga and therapeutics, AcroYoga connects people from all over the world. AcroYoga improves communication, body awareness, mutual trust, and self-confidence in a safe and fun environment, while increasing strength, flexibility and fitness level in its practitioners. This practice is based on listening, trust and respect, and it is mainly about exploring and expanding your physical and psychological limits, overcoming fears when stepping out of your comfort zone and building trust and connection with other people. Most importantly its fun!
AcroYoga teacher’s, Dana and Jax will bring you through the foundations and fundamentals of AcroYoga during this all levels workshop series. These workshops are for all body types and ages. A willingness to play is all that is needed. These workshops are perfect for people with little or no experience with AcroYoga, or those who would like to refine their AcroYoga skills and technique.
You will leave these workshops with the confidence to continue practicing AcroYoga. You will learn multiple postures and be able to progress on your own. Dana and Jax will be introducing basic poses and flows in a fun and safe environment; weaved with partner drills, smart and accessible progressions, and lots of fun.
