In honor of my birthday month, I am bringing elements of my Transformational TWERKshop into this experience. We are programmed to believe there is something wrong with moving our hips. It’s a human condition to store so much negativity, especially in this part of our body causing pain, illness, and disease. Bringing conscious awareness and activating our hips allows us to let go of the emotional and environmental toxins we build up. A healing space is created to let go of fears, expectations, judgements, criticisms, emotional baggage, inner critic, self-blame, guilt, abuse, pain, embarrassment, and shame. We will be tapping into the art of twerking. Twerking traces back to West Africa and was known as the Mapouka Dance. It was a celebratory dance of joy and was widely accepted because people believed it led to encounters with GOD!

This activation will remind us to stay open & optimistic when things fall apart and to celebrate the flaws and missteps of life. WHAT IS CACAO:

Cacao comes from the edible seed of the cacao tree, which is native to tropical regions such as Central and South America. These amazing vibrational frequencies will help you harmonize your mental and emotional states, tone your nervous system, as well as support, and strengthen your immune system and cardiac functions through breath and sound.

-Alpenflow has created a safe space for you to practice social distancing. This workshop is limited to 19 people. 

-Our studio is over 2000 square feet with a continuous upward exhaust system, as well as cross ventilation from open windows and doors.

-We honor a minimum distance of 6 feet per person. Everyone is spaced evenly with markers on the floor to guide you.

-You will wear a mask until you you reach your space and we ask that you wear your mask anytime you leave that space.

-Due to the current State of California guidelines, Alpenflow asks that you bring your own props, bolsters, pillows and blankets.

-Alpenflow does provide yoga mats ($3.00 each), hand towels, blocks and straps for you to use. These are sanitized before and after each class.
